Agrifence MAXICORD is a 6mm braided electric fence rope designed with horse safety in mind. A key advantage of MAXICORD is its lower breaking strain compared with many heavier-duty, cheaper electric fence ropes.

For horse fencing, an extremely strong rope is not necessarily an advantage. If a horse becomes caught or tangled in an electric fence, a rope with a more appropriate breaking strain can give way under sufficient force rather than remaining unyielding.
