DESCRIPTION
The Gatemaster GRS is a gate tether – a simple but essential safety device. It has been designed to prevent gates falling over if a hinge fails. The British Standard BS EN 12604 recommends using a gate tether on gates to help prevent serious accidents.
You install the restrainer by drilling a 13mm hole into the gate and the post, and slotting the end stops into position as shown in this video guide.
PRODUCT OPTIONS
- GRS03 – Gate restrainer for gates up to 260kg, 220mm operational length
- GRS04 – Gate restrainer for gates up to 500kg, 275mm operational length
*Important note – strict installation and usage conditions apply. Some gate configurations will not be made safe using this device, refer to installation guide for further information.
