Strainrite's electric bungee gateway system provides a practical solution for creating accessible gateways within an electric fencing installation. This contractor bundle combines the individual gateway components shown into one package, giving professional users the parts required to construct up to 10 gateways, with the actual gate lengths determined by how the supplied 50m cord is divided.

At the heart of the bundle is a 50 metre reel of Strainrite Premium Solcor Electric Bungee Cord. Strainrite specifies this as an 8mm cord featuring a solid formulated rubber core that is UV stabilised for long service life. The core is protected by a tightly braided, UV-stabilised polyester outer cover incorporating four 0.25mm stainless-steel wires to provide electrical conductivity.

Strainrite states that its Premium Solcor cord is resistant to UV, salt water/air, petroleum products and most caustic chemicals. The manufacturer also specifies a 96kg breaking strain and describes the cord as New Zealand made.

The bundle includes 10 black Strainrite Bungee Gate Break Handles. Strainrite lists these black handles as product FGH00035 within its electric fencing Gateway Solutions range.

The included activator and termination components provide the connection points required at either side of the gateway. Strainrite's own complete bungee gate kits use the same principle, combining a bungee gate handle and Solcor electric bungee cord with electric fence activator and termination ends.

Also supplied are 10 Brianex Bungee Connectors. Strainrite lists its Brianex Bungee Connector under product code FCL00175, and its gateway systems use Brianex connectors as part of the connection between bungee cord and gateway hardware.
