The Husk Anorak is a well-constructed, heavy-duty and durable jacket/smock/top/rain-fleece.

Keeping you warm and dry with high-performance wind-tight and water-resistant fabric the Husk is constructed of three bonded layers:

  • softshell outer
  • waterproof TPU membrane
  • fleece liner

The four-way, fast-drying, stretch fabric makes for a comfortable, flexible and supporting fit that feels like a second skin – more traditional fabrics can often feel tight and restrictive. The hood is both removable and adjustable to provide extra head protection and insulation when needed.

Articulated cropped sleeves (¾ sleeve length/short sleeves) are useful for keeping arms cooler and for manual handling work.

Bonded zipped chest and hand pockets keep valuables safe and dry whilst the contoured internal chin guard provides protection against wind and rain.

Fitted with a heavy-duty half-zip and designed with a curved body hem and drop-tail. Fabric waterhead rating 16,000 mm/m²/24hr.  4,000/m² breathability rating.

This range of fleece performs when you need it most.

Care Instructions

  • Wash on cold, delicate machine wash 30°c.
  • Do not use detergent.
  • Line dry.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach.
  • Do not iron.
  • Do not dry clean.

Hose it down. Wash down your garments with the hose at the end of the day. Washing off the mud before it dries prevents bacteria from growing, which can start to rot and weaken the fabric.

Hang it up.  Don’t leave your gear in a heap on the floor or in wet conditions. Find a hook and hang your jacket and overtrousers up. They’ll dry faster and hanging them up and keeping them out of wet conditions minimises the opportunity for bacteria to grow and break down the fabric.

Don’t use detergent.  Washing your rainwear with detergent is one of the worst things you can do. Powdered detergents can affect the quality of the seam sealing tape that makes Betacraft gear waterproof. If you have to wash your gear, use a cool wash (<50°) with no detergent. Do not dry clean, iron or bleach.
